Medicare 101 Slides

Medicare is the healthcare system established in 1965 to provide access to medical care for America's seniors, those age 65 and older. There are many aspects to Medicare that can be confusing, including who is eligible, what are the various benefit programs, when and how to register, the various options available to those enrolled, and the costs associated with being an enrollee in the Medicare system.

This session will provide an overview of various aspects of the Medicare system to help you make an informed decision about how to include planning for Medicare in your financial plans. It will be most beneficial to those who are approaching the enrollment age of 65. However, even if you have a number of years to go, or are already enrolled, there will probably be something you'll learn about Medicare.

And whether you are a current client or have never worked with a financial planner before, you are welcome to join us to learn about the Medicare program, and hopefully make a more informed decision when enrolling in this important health program.
